This + Melatonin Is a No Brainer For Good Sleep

Sleep is something most of us would love to get more of but rarely ever hit our target goal with.

There are all kinds of reasons behind why so many Americans experience sleepless nights.

One of the more obvious are stress and anxiety.

If you are stressed or anxious it means your brain doesn’t have a chance to turn off. Not only does this cause your wheels to spin and your mind to entertain scenarios of what could happen in the future (or worse, what would have happened if you’d done something differently in the past)… it also causes your body to produce excess adrenaline that has you primed for a fight or flight sequence.

Not exactly what you want while you’re trying to catch some ZZZs.

Dr. Wiggy has long recommended melatonin for sleep. However, what you may not realize, is he also recommends ashwagandha for sleep, too.

Why?

Well, ashwagandha has a well-documented ability to help your body resist the negative effects of stress.

Combined with melatonin, it could be the answer you need for better sleep.

In fact, combined with a variety of sleep aids it could be the answer you need to drift off easily.

The version we created and offer to patients and customers is one of the most powerful on the planet for fighting stress – with 7% withanolides per serving. Which means if what’s keeping you up is too much stress our Ashwagandha 7% Withanolides 1 Cap Daily Formula may be an answer to your prayers for sleep.

How Ashwagandha Helps Combat Stress and Beat Sleeplessness

Look, stress is good for us.

We don’t often think it is, because it can feel so awful to experience stress.

Without it though, we’d have never learned how to read, to walk, or to love well.

That being said, stress may be good for us, but not every kind of stress is. And it’s certainly the case that if stress is causing you to lose sleep that it’s far from beneficial.

A lack of sleep caused by stress begets more stress, and more struggle to sleep.

Which is why tackling stress head on could help you get a good night’s sleep.

As we mentioned, our ashwagandha is high in withanolides, which are known to help

Ashwagandha’s withanolide substances are helpful for suppressing the cascading problems with an over-excited and over-stressed nervous system.

It can do this by helping to balance both adrenaline and cortisol levels which are both needed for the promotion and reduction of stress.

There are a number of studies to support this, but one of the best comes from a 2009 study that researchers published in PLOS One where they were shown to be just as powerful as conventional treatments in the moderation of stress responses.

For 12-weeks, 75 participants with known stress problems were asked two split in 2 groups.

One of the groups was offered naturopathic care where another was given psychotherapy intervention. Among the treatments in the naturopathic care group they received “dietary counseling, deep breathing relaxation techniques, a standard multivitamin and 300 milligrams of ashwagandha twice daily.”

“The psychotherapy intervention group received psychotherapy, deep breathing relaxation techniques and placebo pills twice daily.”

When they measured how stressed the people in each group were at the conclusion of the 12 weeks, the group that received ashwagandha (among the other compliments of care) had their stress levels decreased by 55 percent.

Whereas, the psychotherapy group’s scores decreased by 30.5 percent.

“Significant differences between the two groups were also found in mental health, concentration, social functioning, vitality, fatigue and overall quality of life, with the ashwagandha group displaying greater clinical benefits.

In addition to these positive findings, researchers indicated that no serious adverse effects occurred in either group. A major ashwagandha benefit is that there are no or minimal adverse reactions when taking it.”

And, as we mentioned, this is one of dozens of studies on how ashwagandha helps to reduce stress.

If you take it with, say, melatonin, it gives your body what it needs to keep stress at bay so your melatonin can do its job.

This is why it’s one of the best natural remedies for better sleep.

And when you consider 1 bottle lasts 2 whole months, imagine how much quality sleep you can get using this all by itself, or with something else.
