If I gave you a choice between feeling great or feeling ok, you’d choose to feel great, right?
I know the answer is obvious.
Truth be told, most of the men and women coming in to see me want to feel great, and as soon as they notice they’re not feeling their best they’re checking in at our front desk to figure out what’s going on.
When Dr. Lantelme first opened the practice in 2011, he began helping his patients go from feeling ok…to feeling great by using bio-identical hormone replacement therapy.
This therapy is the simple practice of helping balance out falling hormone levels with supplemental forms of hormones that match the ones your body makes naturally.
In addition to balancing out hormones, Dr. Lantelme helped move the needle on his patients’ general well-being by fixing nutritional deficiencies.
Today, nearly 8 years later, we’re doing the same exact thing.
The only difference?
We’ve gained more knowledge about what we can do to help our patients feel great, and we’ve introduced new products they can take to boost energy levels, enhance mood, and more!
At the beginning of the year we introduced a product called “Estrogen Control.”
This product helps to balance out estrogen levels to help women feel amazing.
Let me show you how it works, and I’ll also show you the reviews some people have left of it.
Why Women Of All Ages Love Estrogen Control
Typically, when I write about bioidentical hormone replacement therapy I focus on fixing falling levels of hormones.
Estrogen control works in a different way.
It helps to reel in elevated levels of estrogen.
High levels of estrogen may not seem like a big deal, but as you’ll see, they actually can make women feel less than their best.
But first, check out this review of Estrogen Control from our website:
As you can see, Natashi likes it because she deals with estrogen dominance.
For the women who deal with estrogen dominance, they find taking this supplement can help them move from feeling “draggy” and sluggish, to feeling energized, sharp and focused.
Patients and online customers rave about how estrogen control has them feeling like their old selves again. Boundless energy, great nights of sleep, a healthy sex drive and more are theirs as a result of taking Estrogen Control.
While I’ve written on estrogen dominance before, let me take a second to recap what it is and how it affects women.
Estrogen dominance is what happens when some of your body’s sex hormones take a slight dive and estrogen is allowed to rise, unchecked.
In particular, when estrogen isn’t balanced out with progesterone, that’s when things may start to get out of whack.
Let me explain how estrogen dominance can prevent you feeling 100% your best.
How Estrogen Dominance Creates a Situation Where You Feel “Blah”
Estrogen dominance creates a situation where you simply feel “blah” because as estrogen levels go higher and higher they tend to corrupt how the reproductive system works:
No, it doesn’t “break” the reproductive system.
But just like if you overwater a plant, if you’re over-estrogenized (a word I made up), then you’ll feel the side-effects.
- Trouble sleeping well
- Loss of motivation
- Lower desire for sex
- Breast tenderness
- Cold feet and hands
- Painful menstruation
- Weight loss issue
- Brain fog
- Forgetting things
- Low energy levels
When you bring estrogen levels back into the healthy range then it helps you move from feeling ok to Great!
The way estrogen control works is by providing the body with a variety of all-natural supplements that help your body produce less estrogen so that your body lowers those elevated estrogen levels.
Here’s what a patient at our practice said about how Estrogen Control got her back to feeling her best.
These Are the Ingredients to Estrogen Controls Success
Estrogen Control is a blend of 4 nutrients shown in various clinical trials to help improve estrogen levels.
Estrogen Control contains DIM, Kudzu, Iodine and Selenium.
Here’s how those all work to improve estrogen levels.
DIM is the abbreviation for diindolylmethane, a plant-based compound you’d normally get by eating cruciferous vegetables (cabbage, broccoli, kale, etc).
John Biggs BSc, NCP, OHP writes this about how DIM helps control estrogen.
“DIM can definitely help prevent or reverse estrogen dominance, and support hormone balance by encouraging production of “friendly” estrogen metabolites with a much gentler, less pronounced estrogenic effect, (termed 2-OH-estrogens).
At the same time, DIM reduces production of the much more potent, proliferative, and inflammatory estrogens, i.e. 16-OH estrogens, and 4-OH estrogens. The reactive 16-OH estrogen metabolites, (i.e. the “undesirable” ones), can exert up to 10x the level of estrogenic influence as the “friendly” 2-OH metabolites.
And the 4-OH variety of metabolite can be really nasty. It can cause what are called DNA adducts that bind to your genes, raise inflammation, and can cause offramp, uncontrolled mutations and divisions in cells.”
Kudzu is quite common around my office in North Carolina. A climbing vine, it takes over entire plots of land in a very short time.
Fortunately kudzu is also wonderful for helping to control estrogen.
Kudzu has phytoestrogen qualities (plant-based estrogen qualities) which have been shown useful in regulating your body’s own supply of estrogen.
Phytoestrogens like kudzu, bind to estrogen receptors, but have 1/100th of the effects of your body’s own estrogen. When they’re bound to those receptors it means that your body’s own estrogen doesn’t get picked up by the receptors which prevents estrogen from exerting its full effect on your body.
A study published in the Journal Agricultural Food Chemicals noted Studies indicate Kudzu has some of the most powerful phytoestrogen effects observed, which make it ideal for handling estrogen dominance.
Iodine is an essential mineral most commonly know for how it helps to regulate thyroid health.
But iodine also plays a role in governing estrogen production. According to Dr. Brownstein, the way iodine helps to regulate estrogen dominance is by increasing how progesterone (a form of estrogen) bonds to receptor sites.
When iodine deficiency is present, it leads to more estrogen linking up to receptor sites and less progesterone hooking up to those sites. When iodine levels are normalized, estrogen levels fall as more progesterone bonds to receptor sites.
Thus helping to alleviate estrogen dominance
To avoid estrogen dominance your liver needs to function at 100%. This is because your liver plays a vital role in helping to clear estrogen from the body. This is why you need to make sure your selenium levels are up to the task.
Selenium influences how well your liver clears estrogen from your bloodstream. When selenium levels are in the healthy range it means your body can break down estrogen into various compounds that can be voided from the body and prevent estrogen dominance.
>> You Can Purchase Estrogen Control Here
Estrogen Control is in high demand at our store at the clinic and on our website at Health As It Ought To Be.
We offer it to patients because many of them need extra support in helping prevent estrogen dominance, and Estrogen Control helps to modulate estrogen quickly.
I custom made it to contain the clinically tested doses for controlling estrogen dominance.
